Read. “Silent Circle” is written competently in simple language. The arc of the story is interrupted by the sudden ending, so I assume it will carry over into the next instalment. It is told in the first person, present tense which I’m not a fan of, but is normal for the genre. Ms Larsen can tell a story, albeit with high drama.
