This was a very interesting and well told story, I loved the way you were given the Firebird's opinion on the human race, and how difficult it was for the main characters to accept what it was and find it. Anthony Bellaleigh's novel, Firebird, is written unlike any other I have read; ten minutes after I had started reading, I knew it would be a page-turner. I knew that reading this book would cause me to lose a lot of sleep if I didn't plan my evenings carefully. Little did I realize I would lose sleep despite my most diligent plans. It’s been a summer of semi-solid writing for me. A little bit selfish on my part but worthwhile all the same and very enjoyable to boot. So I’d like to offer a quick apology to my on-line friends for not seeming to be around much over the last couple of months.
